What is Yarrow?
Yarrow is a flowering plant in the Asteraceae indigenous to the northern hemisphere. It has been used over the years for several healing purposes due to its many healing properties and can be used in many ways from herbal teas and tinctures to being directly applied to wounds. As a herbal tea, relaxing to the voluntary nervous system, yarrow tea can aid with all manner of cramping and spasms, particularly uterine (so check with your physician if pregnant). Traditionally, yarrow has been used for insomnia and to relieve stress or anxiety.
